This series of paintings on plexiglass were inspired by the lights of Time Square reflecting in the rain soaked black pavement of Broadway. Painted from the back side of a sheet of one quarter inch thick plexiglass it shimmers in the light. it has four aluminum wall stand offs for hanging, two have loops so it can be hung on wall hooks. unfortunately photographing these pieces for reproduction is very difficult and this image has a reflection that will render it impossible to reprint. So if you like this buy the original while it last. these paintings are my latest work and have been selling fast here in New York City so my prices have been going up accordingly reflecting the the value of this art.
My interest in art as self expression started at a very early age. I sold my first painting at eighteen. Never attending an art school I learned my craft on the job as an apprentice to master craftsmen. Learning to do restoration work, to paint reproductions of the old masters paintings, as well as painting murals, faux and Trompe l'oeil for many of the world’s most demanding clients. Later I attended Akron University to study theater scene painting. As a master artist I have designed and painted theater scenery for numerous productions and painted private commissions for well established internationally known designers as well as original works that are collected around the world.
